When You Pray, Say: Your Will Be Done! Matthew 6:9

2 Parts in this Model Prayer: God’s Glory and Man’s Need or Our Worship and God’s Provision!

God’s Glory: Your Name, Your Kingdom, Your Will!
God’s Provision: He Gives, He Forgives, He Leads and He Delivers!

Our Father Who Is In Heaven! Romans 8:14-15

Hallowed Be Your Name!

Your Kingdom Come!

Your Will Be Done! On Earth As it is In Heaven!

I. We Say: You Are Our Lord! Your Will Be Done!

The Will of God: The Wish, desire, purpose and pleasure of God! What God Wants!

The Father’s Will: Your Salvation! John 4:38-40

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing (wanting) for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

The Father’s Will: Your Sanctification!
1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Hebrews 12:14 – Pursue Peace with all men and the Sanctification by which know one will see the Lord!

The Example of Jesus: Hebrews 10:1-10

II. We Say: We Are Your Stewards! Your Will Be Done!

A. I Have Come to Do Your Will O Lord!

Philippians 2:1-10 – Attitudes, Words and Deeds

Galatians 5:22 – But the Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self Control!

B. I Delight to do Your Will! Psalm 40:6-9
C. I Will Proclaim Your Will!

On Earth As It is In Heaven! Romans 8:26-39
