We Hear and Receive Redemption and Restoration From Jesus. John 21:

Jesus Draws Near to Peter: 1-3

Jesus Restores From Where You Where We Are to Where We Belong: 15-17

He’s telling Peter to imitate Him as Shepherd!

He Speaks to His Sheep, by name and leads them: John 10:3 “To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”

John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me.”

He Goes before His Sheep He leads them: John 10:4 “When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him…”

Psalm 23:2-3 “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.”

He Gives Rest, Peace, protection, where they are undisturbed by the Predator, the thief.
He Gives Living Water.
He Leads to Paths of righteousness:
He Restores Your Soul
He Feeds

He Sacrifices Himself

John 10:11 “The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
John 10:15 “I lay down My life for the sheep.”

He Gives Abundant Life

John 10:10 “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

He Keeps His Sheep Safe

John 10:28 “They will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
John 10:29 “…no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”

He Gives Eternal Life

John 10:28 “I give eternal life to them…”

He Comforts Psalm 23:4 “Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

He Walks With His Sheep Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.”

He Removes Fear: Psalm 23:4 “I fear no evil…”

He Provides: Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me…”

He Heals the sickly and broken and Sanctifies and Sets them A Part: Psalm 23:5 “You have anointed my head with oil…”

He Blesses Over-flowingly Psalm 23:5 “My cup overflows.”

He Pursues Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me…”

He Gives His Presence Forever: Psalm 23:6 “I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

He leaves the 99 and searches for the lost one, He finds it and carries Him Home.

He Shepherds Forever Revelation 7:17 “For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”
