3rd Pride’s Consequences!
– Dishonor:
Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes dishonor, but with the humble is wisdom.
Luke 14:8 “When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, lest someone more distinguished than you may have been invited by him, 9 and he who invited you both shall come and say to you, `Give place to this man,’ and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place.
– Destruction:
Proverbs 16:18 Pride {goes} before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling.
Destruction – fracture, figuratively, ruin; specifically, a solution affliction, breach, breaking, broken bruised, crashing, destruction, hurt, interpretation, vexation.
Remember Herod: Acts 12:21-23 (Not even Ivermectin could save Him)
– God’s Opposition:
James 4:6 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore {it} says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
