I. We Confess “Jesus as Lord”, While Believing That God Raised Him from the Dead: This Finds Freedom from the Pit of Sin’s Penalty

II. We Confess Our Sin: This Finds Freedom From the Pit of Sin’s Power.

III. We Confess out of A Godly Sorrow: This Finds Repentance Without Regret.
Romans 2:4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the Kindness of God leads you to repentance.
2 Corinthians 7:10 For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation but the sorrow of the world produces death.
